Black Flames closes down
Our record label, Black Flames Records, has recently closed down.
This comes at an interesting time as we have recently finished writing our second album and single and were considering leaving the label regardless, given the unreasonable delays and problems associated with our first album.
While we're very much grateful for all the hard work Black Flames did for us, we have come out of this as a much more pro-active band and have learned just how strongly we love and appreciate our product.
For the meantime we are going to polish off our new album, have the artwork done (once again by Alexander G. aka User.DX!) and have our album mastered and then look at our options.

SydneyGothic.com review
SydneyGothic.com reviews Glass . Check out the Press page to read the full review.
It's hard not to tag Melbourne down as the city for polished Goth electronica. This is proven again, with the release of The Crystalline Effect's rewarding double release, Glass. Like the releases' title, it's a combination of different elements and the final product is shear, clear and cold.

Fiend Magazine Review:
Check out a great review from Fiend Magazine of The Crystalline Effect's recent live show at Achtung here .
Musically, the outfit are incredibly tight – Peter's solid playing and remarkable songwriting abilities shine as strongly as ever. A mellow, industrial styled trip-hop sound defined the band...
...Professionalism reigned supreme, of course, and the band provided a solid set with no flaws and certainly created a huge amount of interest in their future live shows and studio releases.
